Pale Blue Eyes are heading to Thekla on Thursday the 3rd of April 2025, presented by Crosstown Concerts.
Today, Pale Blue Eyes share a new track and announce a UK tour scheduled for April 2025. Pieces of You is taken from their forthcoming third album, which will be fully announced in the new year.
The song was written during a poignant time of packing up their lives into boxes and moving to a new city. It reflects not only their own memories but also those of Matt’s family, spanning over 40 years. Surrounding them were hundreds of photos, a first pay cheque, a marriage certificate, football trophies, wedding rings—a life cycle culminating in a new beginning for the band in a different place.
The track was recorded together in June in Sheffield, with additional guitar and synth contributions from their friend Tom Sharkett (W.H. Lung).
This release follows How Long Is Now, their acclaimed 2023 album This House, and extensive international touring, including a standout tour across 12 European countries supporting Slowdive.
