Demob Happy have been making waves in the modern alternative scene since their 2015 debut LP Dream Soda. Picking up tours supporting legendary artists and high profile festival slots across the world. The Brighton trio released their sophomore album Holy Doom in 2018, and followed it with a headline UK tour, and a headline show for Independent Music Week at Moles in 2019. Now, having released their latest single – Pictures of Show from their upcoming third album Divine Machines – they have announced a fresh tour across the country, and will headline Thekla in Bristol on Wednesday 6th September 2023.
Divine Machines is the third studio album from Demob Happy. It will be released on May 26 2023 via Liberator Music.
The band have amassed over 35 million streams to date. They have 13.7k followers on Instagram, 2.8k followers on Twitter, 20k followers on Facebook, and 6.6k subscribers on YouTube.
Divine Machines is a record that Demob Happy had to build towards. It’s the product not just of a strange extended period of work – both on the album and on themselves – but of an entire career spent putting in the hours, believing tirelessly in what they’re doing and, slowly but surely, watching the world start to believe in it too.
Presented by Live Nation, Demob Happy perform live at Thekla on Wednesday 6th September 2023.
