Mancunian 90s indie revivers Afflecks Palace come live to Thekla in 2023. Forming their own record label, Spirit of Spike Island, initially as a clothing brand – frontman Fender quickly saw it as a way to launch his band’s music. Now taking other similarly spirited bands under the label’s arm, you can find ample 90s nostalgia under the brand and following Afflecks Palace across their live shows. Reminiscent of the Stone Roses, for a hit of what mainstream indie won’t pick up – come see Afflecks Palace live aboard Thekla on 17th February 2023.
