More good news for Foxes this year as video plays for her single ‘Youth’ now surpass 2.5 million. The track was recently A list at Radio 1 and was THE most played song on the station last week. This follows on from a strong chart debut that saw ‘Youth’nestled in amongst releases from Eminem, Rihanna, Katy Perry and One Direction on release… a hugely impressive result for a new artist during the busiest time of the year. Foxes name has already started appearing in tips for 2014, making her a serious contender for the BRITs Critics’ Choice Award next year, ahead of her debut album release, which is now set for March 3. Loui Rose Allen’s (aka Foxes) international story also continues to build as she follows her Billboard top 10 with a number 1 on the Billboard Dance charts with ‘Youth’. Following dates across Asia (including a fundraiser in Manila for victims of Typhoon Haiyan) and Australia, she is currently on tour in the US, headlining iconic venues including the Troubadour in LA and Gramercy in New York. Though she may have only recently broken into the mainstream, Foxes has been making music for years. She decided to get serious when she moved to London at the age of 18 and at the age of 23 she burst into the blogosphere with her Neon Gold Records’ debut and followed this with her eagerly awaited the Warrior EP, whose lead tracks Warrior and White Coats got tastemakers on both sides of the Atlantic excited before putting her first single, Echo out on Sony.
