Uncompromising, infectious and original, Lazy Habits are a highly energetic eight piece live band. They integrate decks, rhymes and beatbox with drums, bass, and a jazz based brass section to create an explosive live show that has seen them support the likes of Mos Def, Soulwax, The Specials, Bonobo, Chali 2Na (Jurrasic5), Foreign Beggars and Beardyman. They have won hearts and blown minds at festivals including Glastonbury, The Big Chill, Edinburgh Fringe, Lovebox, Electric Picnic and Secret Garden Party, as well as selling out headline shows at some of London’s best clubs – Cargo, Koko and The Jazz Café.

Their debut self-released EP ‘On the Wagon’ exploded on the underground scene, selling out on pre-orders alone and put Lazy Habits on the radar of Radio 1 tastemaker Huw Stephens. Their follow up single “Even Out” introduced them to a wider audience and was used on commercially released cinema and TV productions both domestically and in Europe.

2012 saw them complete several tours of the UK, Europe and Taiwan, which have been supported by several single releases including the renowned ‘Memory Banks‘, the much loved anthem ‘Starting Fires’ and more recently ‘Bulletin’. Their new album ‘Ashes’ was released at the end of November.
